Nestled close to the River Dee and the Shropshire Union Canal, Sunbank Accommodation offers a peaceful escape in the heart of beautiful Llangollen, a historic town in North Wales.

Set on a wooded hillside, our two yurts and charming B&B room are inspired by the surrounding countryside and designed with comfort in mind. Each space features quality mattresses, fine linen, and its own private bathroom, your cosy retreat after a day of exploring.

Each of our spaces has its own character, taking its name from its setting: Sunbank Yurt, Thistlebank Yurt, and The Cowshed, a welcoming room in our 16th‑century barn conversion, where we offer a traditional B&B.

Prefer to wander into town for breakfast? We also offer a room‑only option, ideal for those who’d like to enjoy a morning stroll along the canal into Llangollen and sample local favourites such as Riverbanc, Gales Wine Bar, Deeside Café, Fouzi’s, or Finley’s Café.

Food Options During Your Stay

We offer a small but tasty selection of homemade wood‑fired pizzas, available for £12.50 each, as well as a generous Mexican sharing tray for two at £30. Perfect for a relaxed evening after a day out exploring.
